Gary has worked at Rowleys for 22 years! When he's not working he enjoys DIY and pottering around in the garden.

You'll find her working hard in the kitchen Weds- Fri each week. When not at Rowleys she spends a lot of time looking after her animals and seeing her grandchildren.

Paul Withers

An active member of the Cranleigh & District Lions Club for over 45 years
Paul brings the support and backing from all members of “The Lions”.
He was the founder of the Youth Football in Cranleigh back in the early “
'70”s, a secretary of Cranleigh St. Andrews Cricket Club
and one of the 4 founders of Snoxhall Sports Club.
Having organised Fund Raisers for Rowley’s he joined the Trustees in September 2022.

Patricia has helped Rowleys for many years - being involved with Rowleys keeps her busy and involved (and her daughters tell her 'out of mischief'!). She never has time to feel bored or lonely - something that Rowleys often helps with.

Kennith Ball

Kenny has been a proud resident of the village for over 40 years and is a lively, social member of the community. A long-time member of Rowleys, he enjoys participating in bingo and group holidays, as well as being part of the local sports and social club. Passionate about the outdoors, he loves walking his dog and has also taken on a volunteer role with Memory Lane at the Art Centre.

Carol enjoys helping people in Cranleigh, Ewhurst and the surrounding villages. Putting in place things that were not available for people with memory problems when her hubby was around.

Meet Maura, a vibrant soul who retired in 2020 after 34 years in the world of retail finance, particularly in the department store sector. Always on the move, Maura loves staying active, whether it’s through regular badminton and pickleball sessions or simply enjoying life’s little adventures. With a keen eye for creativity, she’s deeply passionate about all things art – from sketching her own creations to exploring local art exhibitions.

Always smiling and dedicated, she ensures that every space not only looks spotless but feels welcoming too. Her positivity and work ethic make her an essential part of what makes our environment so pleasant. We are lucky to have someone who takes such pride in their work and spreads kindness along the way!

Rosemary Burbridge

"I like how anyone can come into Rowleys, especially those who live alone and need someone to talk to."
Now retired, Rosemary taught at Glebelands school for over 28 years and helped organise Sunday Services at Rowland House care home. As a result, she's a familiar face in the village especially when walking her 9 stone dog! She's been a trustee at Rowleys since 2019.

John Wood
Trustee
John is a lifelong resident of Cranleigh and has been an active member of Rowleys for many years. Together with his wife, Jenny, he has dedicated countless hours to voluntary work for Rowleys, contributing both indoors and outdoors. Due to his commitment and involvement, John took on the role of Members’ Liaison with the Board of Trustees. After the Covid-19 pandemic, John was invited to join the Board and was delighted to accept, furthering his dedication to the community.
